Let’s finish this series with some early demo names that longtime fans love.
🎧 Before several songs received their official titles, they had completely different working names.
• A Place for My Head was called Esaul.
• By Myself was known as SuperXero.
• In the End was simply titled The Untitled.
• Cure for the Itch started as Mr. Hahn.
• One Step Closer was originally called Plaster.
• Don’t Stay was known as Sick.
• Breaking the Habit was developed under the title Drawn.
Many of these names appeared on demo recordings and studio sessions long before the albums were released. They offer a fascinating glimpse into how Linkin Park’s songs evolved before becoming the classics we know today.
Which demo title is your favorite? Would you have kept any of the original names?
